Oh My Gosh.

I got a YES from the agency!!!


Im literally in shock. I can't believe that little ole me from small town Illinois could be living out my dream. I've wanted to do this ever since I could walk and talk. I've always been a dreamer and I will continue to be a dreamer.

I can't even express how happy I am right now. This is the opportunity of a LIFETIME. I was chosen out of hundreds of people to be a part of the most respected agency in the country. I get goosebumps and butterflies just thinking about it...Im so thankful to be able to take part in this.

I just want you all to know that YOU TOO can live your dream. I have absolutely no connections and I've never done anything like this before, it was completely by chance. I found out about it and just decided to go for it. If I would've said "no, Im too nervous, I don't want to go, I wouldn't make it anyway" I wouldn't be about to start a whole new chapter in my life. I said "Oh my gosh, for the first time in my life I am being offered the opportunity of a lifetime, Im gonna go with the most positive attitude and see where it takes me. I've waited my whole life for this and I'm not going to let it pass me by." And look where it got me! :) Just believe in yourself!!

I start classes this Saturday and they go from now until May, one weekend a month. We will learn all of the basics of acting and modeling. We will work on how to present ourselves in a prefessional manner and improve our confidence. I can't wait to start.

"Please chase after your dreams. Don't just walk side by side with them, don't walk behind them. CHASE THEM DOWN!!! You can make them reality!" :D :D :D

I just want to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for all of the support. It means the world to me.

To all of my family: I love you all soo soooo much! Thank you for listening to me talk about my dreams and letting me drag you all to the living room to watch my countless fashion shows and skits. You are all so supportive and I couldn't ask for a better family. <3 <3 <3

To my best friend Brenda: I owe this all to you. Without you I never would have had this opportunity. I love you and I can't wait to go on auditions together :D

To my friends: Thank you so much for all of the support. I love you all and can't wait to make more memories with you all. :)

To everyone on twitter: I could have never imagined the relationships I have formed with you all. It's amazing how close you can get just over the computer. And Im glad I have been able to talk to some of you in other ways. Im so glad to have you all to talk to. Thank you for caring about whats going on in my life and always supporting me in all that I do. You all put a smile on my face and make me feel better everyday. :D

Gahh Im just so happy and I will always stay humble and I'll always be the same girl I am today. No matter if this does huge things for me or if it just teaches me things, I will appreciate the opportunity just the same.

Update!! :)

Hey yall!

Today was the informational meeting and personal interview with Barbizon Modeling and Acting and it went GREAT! Im trying not to get my hopes up too high but my talent director said like 6 times that she was going to fight for me to get a callback tomorrow! AHH! :'D

Being there and hearing about the agency and seeing video of past years just made me soo excited. I couldn't believe I was actuallythere. They said so many wonderful things like that you don't have to be the tallest, skinniest, and prettiest out there-modeling and acting has changed. They are looking for so many types of people. Im just soooo excited to find out if I'm in or not. It would be the best thing that has ever happened to me. So much can come out of it and you can make your dreams come true.

My talent director was saying how if she would have known me before now, there was a photoshoot for American Airlines that she woud have booked me for. OMYGOSH.

Well I will keep my blog updated every step of the way and hopefully I get called back tomorrow evening with a yes! :D :D :D
